Information for teams who have qualified or may likely qualify for state:
· No practice fields may be brought for your individual team. We will have a designated field in the pit area set up for teams to use for practice during the tournament. There will not be room in the arena for additional fields to be set up.
· There will name badges for all volunteers and coaches/mentors. The coach/mentor badge will be assigned to the coach whose name is registered with the team which has qualified. If you would like someone else to fill in for you that name will need to be provided so we can make that person a badge. Only the coach with badge will be allowed in the pit area with their team. This will cut down on the number of people moving around on the floor or the arena and allow for more space in the pit area for teams.
· All spectators will need to be seated in the stands. The first row of the stands we would like to leave open for those spectators who can’t climb stairs.
You will need to respond to this email with the following information:
1) If your team will participate in STEM. (A schedule will be made in advance.) (IQ ONLY)
2) Exact numbers of students participating (We are providing some things for team members who participate.)
3) Power Point Slide – Each team needs to submit a 1 slide power point for our own version of the “parade of nations” which will be shown on the large screen before the tournament begins. This needs to include a picture of the team, team number, team name, team city, and team members names. Please do not include a video. You may use any background you chose.
These items must be received by February 2ndin order to be included in the presentation and receive the “goody bags”.
